The scope consisted of an interior build out of an existing 5,810 square foot, one story building for outpatient dialysis. The site is located on Oakland Park Boulevard. The work included designing a floor plan and spaces for the treatment area, offices, nurses lounge, restrooms, waiting area and mechanical rooms that focused on patient care and comfort. The treatment area features the latest state-of-the-art dialysis machines with inline dialysate filters and back-up emergency generator to insure uninterrupted treatments as well as satellite TV at each station with individual patient flat screen TV. The build out required cutting the existing slab to accommodate the new underground plumbing to the dialysis treatment chairs and sinks throughout, new ceilings, soffits, lighting and wall chases where pluming and connections can be accessed and maintained.
