Fort Lauderdale

Looking to expand their existing one story residence located on the Intracoastal in Fort Lauderdale, this client wanted an island, relaxed feel to their new home. The design began with Bahamian style influences. The large deck that extends the legth of the house and a tropical setting was a must. Nearly all the rooms capture the waterway and of course, sunrises. In adding a second story to an existing residence constructability is essential. In addition, the final design had to be simple and functional.
